Refund and Returns Policy

At Battery Of New Zealand, we are committed to ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products and services. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a clear and fair refund and return policy to ensure your experience with us is seamless.

Returns

We accept returns for products purchased directly from Battery Of New Zealand within 30 days of receipt. In order to qualify for a return, the product must be in its original, unused condition and packaging. Please note that the following conditions apply:

  • Defective or Damaged Products: If you receive a product that is defective or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange for a free return and send a replacement or issue a full refund.
  • Non-defective Products: If the product is not defective but you would like to return it, we will accept returns within 30 days, but the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs. A restocking fee may apply for returns of non-defective items.
  • Products Exempt from Return: Certain products may be exempt from the return policy, including custom orders, used or opened batteries, and items with missing parts or accessories.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method. Please note the following:

  • Refund Processing Time: It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Partial Refunds: In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted, such as in cases of opened packaging or used products.

 

Shipping Costs and Responsibilities

  • New Zealand Customers: If you are returning an item within New Zealand, please contact our customer service team to arrange a return. The cost of return shipping will be covered if the product is defective, but for non-defective items, the return shipping costs will be your responsibility.
  • International Customers: For customers outside New Zealand, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, except in cases where the product is defective or damaged upon arrival.
